DESCRIPTION:Suicide is a major public health concern. Over 4\,000 people die by suicide each year in Canada\, 11 every day making it our country’s 9th leading cause of death overall.  \n Suicide is complicated and tragic but it is often preventable.  \n Together we can ignite and ensure HOPE SURVIVES to prevent suicide in our communities  \n To mark The Wellness & Recovery Centre’s 10th year of Suicide Prevention Initiatives we are hosting a single day event focusing on Suicide Prevention Awareness and Education with speakers Dr. Jennifer Brasch and Kevin Hines.
