Survivor Day is the one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope.
Join us on November 2nd for a community sponsored event at a discounted rate of $10.00 per person (Sponsored by Suicide Prevention)!
safeTALK is a half-day alertness training for everyone 15 and older to learn how to recognize a person with thoughts of suicide and how to connect them with resources who can help them in choosing to live.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Anyone 16 or older can learn and use the ASIST model.
We are very pleased that Running for Rachael will join with the Runners Den for their 22nd Year Anniversary Run on Saturday, September 29th, 2018. Come be part of our community run or walk which will begin from Bayfront Park in Hamilton.
