Running for Rachael
Running for Rachael plays a vital role in supporting city-wide suicide prevention initiatives by bringing our community together to promote hope (prevention), help (intervention), and healing (postvention). Funds raised support crisis support information, suicide prevention training, education, and support groups that strengthen the well-being of individuals and families throughout Hamilton.
Join us to walk or run on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Lime Ridge, as we celebrate 14 years of building hope — one race, one mission, one incredible community.
World Suicide Prevention Day
Join us in the community on Thursday, September 10, for World Suicide Prevention Day.
Visit us at Lime Ridge Mall (beside Second Cup) from 2:00–4:00 p.m. or at the Les Chater YMCA from 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Stop by to chat about suicide prevention, learn about local resources, and pick up your Hope Kit. Together, we can build hope, encourage help-seeking, and promote healing — one conversation at a time.
Stay tuned for details about an Indigenous presentation the morning of Thursday, September 10, for World Suicide Prevention Day at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton – West 5th location.
