Mental Health Awareness and Wellness Week:

Supporting Running for Rachael and Moving Minds Forward

Lily’s Personal Training is hosting a mindful journey of the Self, allowing for increased focus by staying present and incorporating a variety of methods to calm the body and mind.

Date: Monday June 9th – Friday June 13TH from 7 – 8pm.

This mindful journey will allow participants to connect with the Self through movement, mindfulness, breathwork, journaling and meditation.

Monday is Movement

Gentle movement, yoga and mobility exercises to reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, self-esteem and overall well-being, for a positive effect on mental health.

Tuesday is Mindfulness

A restorative yoga practice that engages the senses to become fully present and aware of the physical and emotional thoughts and feelings that impact overall well-being.

Wednesday is Breathwork

A variety of breathing techniques are used to improve overall mental health by regulating heart rate and balancing the nervous system to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

Thursday is Journaling

A safe space for emotional release, self-reflection and stress reduction is created by exploring and understanding thoughts, feelings and behaviour to manage anxiety and cognitive response. 

Friday is Meditation

Through mindful meditation, focusing on the present and improving self-awareness, positive mental health is enhanced, offering a sense of peace and balance.
